Niina Uusi-Autti appointed as Chief Capability Officer
The effective utilisation of AI requires new capabilities and opens new business opportunities. Sofigate invests in developing competences and services by establishing a new leadership role.
The business technology company Sofigate has appointed Niina Uusi-Autti as the Chief Capability Officer (CCO) starting from April 16, 2025. Uusi-Autti leads the development of competences and capabilities and is part of the Group Leadership Team. The role is new to the company and one of the first of its kind in Finland. Sofigate has been training both its own people and customers in business technology leadership roles for a long time, and Niina Uusi-Autti will bring a valuable new contribution also to this area.
”It is typical for us to create new roles even at management level when needed. We recently updated our operating model to identify customer needs driven by market changes and swiftly develop suitable services accordingly, as well as develop new capabilities. Niina Uusi Autti’s area of responsibility fits perfectly into this,” Sami Karkkila, CEO of Sofigate, says.
Sofigate accelerates its transformation pace to match the speed of the AI era
Sofigate has grown into the leading digital transformation enabler in the Nordics, especially with ServiceNow and Salesforce solutions, both of which have become key platforms for AI agents. This evolution presents a unique opportunity for growth for Sofigate, one that will be ensured by focusing on continuous competence development of its employees.
Sofigate has long emphasised the importance of transformation leadership capabilities. Since 2009, the Sofigate Academy has trained thousands of professionals, both within Sofigate and in customer organisations. At the core of this training is the Business Technology Standard, an open framework for leading business digitalisation.
Uusi-Autti will lead capability development within Sofigate’s two business areas (Transformations and Platforms), focusing especially on AI implementation. The goal is to establish a clear market leadership position as a comprehensive AI partner for customers, helping them achieve significant productivity gains.
Uusi-Autti brings over 15 years of expertise in the IT service market and in its management. She has held various leadership roles in multiple digital consulting firms for more than a decade. Additionally, she has extensive experience in management consulting, particularly in renewing strategy and business with AI and technology.
With years of transformations expertise behind her, Uusi-Autti feels like she is returning to her roots: “I am truly happy and excited to join the team of top professionals at Sofigate. Sofigate’s strong change management expertise combined with solid technological knowledge is unique. It’s amazing to genuinely be at the forefront of driving AI-driven change, both for Sofigate and its customers.”
