Sofigate equips all employees with AI Agents – brings cost and quality benefits to customers
Sofigate, the leading Business Technology Company in the Nordics, makes its biggest investment ever to equip all employees with AI agents to provide direct cost, quality, and productivity benefits to customers. The project will also strengthen Sofigate employees’ capabilities, making them leading professionals in implementing AI programs for customers.
Sofigate provided all employees access to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot just months after their initial launch. Now, the company is taking a significant step further as Sofigate’s professionals will develop AI agents tailored for different expert roles. Sofigate is a leading business technology company professionally managing technology-enabled business transformation. As a prime partner of ServiceNow and Salesforce in the Nordics, it employs 800 professionals across six countries.
“We will continue to be a people-centric company, but by the end of 2025, every employee will be equipped with specialised AI Agents to enhance their capabilities. Early in 2026, customers can anticipate the launch of AI Agent First services, positioning AI at the forefront with human expertise as support. This will enable us to deliver premium services round-the-clock at lower cost. This is a major investment for us, at a total value of 3 million euros”, explains Sofigate CEO Sami Karkkila.
From AI Agent colleagues to AI Agent First services
By the end of 2025, all Sofigate employees will be able to utilise a wide range of AI Agents. In early 2026, customers can expect to see the launch of AI Agent First services, where AI is at the forefront and backed up by human colleagues. This enables Sofigate to deliver top expertise services, for example in service integration and project management, 24/7 in multiple languages and at a lower cost for customers.
As an example, a team of 4 consultants having a dedicated role in the customer assignment could in the future be formed of 2 consultants and 8 specialised AI Agents. This means that with the same amount of workforce there will be a major improvement in productivity as consultants can give part of their tasks to AI Agents and focus on the most demanding tasks requiring their unique capabilities.
Direct cost-savings and productivity improvements for customers
AI Agents will be built in two stages. First, they will be trained as various business technology professionals e.g. business change leads, business designers, project managers, service managers and scrum masters. This work will be based on the Business Technology Standard (BTS) which describes an operating model between business and technology with over 70 clearly defined roles.
In the second phase, by connecting AI Agents to data and even more specific instructions, they will cover specialist roles and work more independently. In this phase AI Agents will be fully deployed, and we will see an even further increase in Sofigate consultants’ professional capabilities, creating a multi-talented workforce used to benefitting from and evolving with AI colleagues.
This investment strengthens Sofigate’s capabilities while providing a clear framework for supporting customers in developing their AI capability programmes. The newly appointed Chief Capability Officer of Sofigate, will drive the capability development at Sofigate both on employee level and in customer interface.
